Guaico Presbyterian Earth Angels 4-H Club Celebrates 25 Years of Youth Empowerment and Service

On May 22, 2025, the Guaico Presbyterian Earth Angels 4-H Club proudly celebrated its 25th anniversary—a significant milestone in its journey of nurturing young minds, building character, and serving the community.
Founded in 2000 with just 25 eager 4-H’ers, the club’s beginnings were humble but full of promise. From the outset, the goal was not just to form another 4-H club, but to create something meaningful—something that would inspire and uplift. In a moment of prayerful reflection, the name “Earth Angels” was born—a tribute to the children who would become stewards of the earth and lights in their communities.
To commemorate this silver jubilee, the club launched its newest initiative: the Guaico Presbyterian Earth Angels 4-H Club Steel Orchestra—a vibrant symbol of creativity, discipline, and Caribbean culture. This exciting new venture was made possible through the incredible support of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Presbyterian Primary School Board. Together, these partners have empowered our 4-H’ers to contribute meaningfully not just within their school and community, but throughout Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean.

Honoring the Pillars of Support

The celebration also recognized the dedicated individuals who have played a vital role in the club’s journey over the years, including:

Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders
At the heart of the Earth Angels 4-H Club is a deep commitment to the holistic development of every child. We believe that each young person is unique, capable of growth, and deserving of opportunities to reach their full potential. As an educator serving in the North Eastern Educational District, it has been a true privilege to guide these bright young minds and witness their transformation.

This year’s anniversary also included the presentation of certificates to new 4-H members for 2025, reinforcing our ongoing mission to inspire, educate, and empower.

A Legacy of Values
More than just skills and service, the Earth Angels are taught to live by timeless principles. Chief among them is the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do to you” (Luke 6:31). It is our prayer that this guiding principle continues to shape their choices and character, wherever life leads them. As we celebrate 25 years of impact, we look to the future with hope and dedication. May we continue to uplift our youth, instilling in them the confidence and compassion to build a better tomorrow.
