SUPERB START TO TECH AGRI EXPO 2023

It was a well-attended day of activities at The UWI, Faculty of Food and Agriculture Tech Agri Expo, yesterday, Friday, September 22nd, 2023 as many primary and secondary schools nationwide flocked to observe and sample the rich goodness of agricultural technology and innovation at the 4th hosting of the event.

4-H Clubs were out in their numbers representing the various counties of St. George East/West,

Victoria, Nariva/Mayaro, St. Patrick East, St. Patrick West, Caroni, and St. Andrew/St. David.  The President of the 4-H Leaders Council of Trinidad and Tobago, Mrs. Natasha Lee, represented 4-H, as she does with much pomp and circumstance, capturing 4H-ers in their element who were enjoying the tours guided by students from the Faculty of Food and Agriculture and sampling the goodies at the many booths.

Also in attendance was the Minister of Youth Development and National Service, the Honorable Mr. Foster Cummings, and Parliament Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, Mr. Avinash Singh.

The Tech Agri Expo is open to the public over the next two days, Saturday 23rd, and Sunday 24th, Republic Day at the UWI, St. Augustine from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and it is highly advisable that you attend.
